Truth
It’s a funny thing and is often taken for granted. Very few people actually seek out the truth. We take it a face value that if enough people say something that it must be true. People no longer challenge pre-conceived notions to determine if they are in fact true. This is fine as long as the people spreading the “Truth” are objective, impartial and in fact have actually researched whether or not it is the “Truth”. Take the media for example. There are thousands of examples of US media propagating something so many times. The logic being that if they repeat it enough, people will believe it and it will become the “truth”. I think this is a truly sad state of affairs. Smear campaigns are organized and people take pride in bring people or ideas down based on nothing more than repetition and not facts.
