That's all I've been able to think about all week.  Realistically probably since my visitors left almost two weeks ago.  My mind and desire to be here left on the plane with them.  This past weekend was a bit tough as all I wanted to do was to be home.  This week I've been extremely bored.  I've spent a significant amount of time online shopping and browsing (laptop arriving soon and a few MEC purchases).  Work hasn't been too busy and most things are under control for my impending departure.

Other than that I've been going to the gym or working out daily so I'm interested to see what the results are when I get home.  I feel like I've been pretty disciplined this rotation and I'd like to see some results.  It's funny what the magic of camera angle can do.  I think these two pictures speak for themselves.

Strange Day

Most of you are still probably a sleep as I write and post this.  Today is Remembrance Day in Canada.  Some of us probably hardly think about it.  I've honoured and or celebrated this day in my own way since University.  It was always a holiday so you have the freedom to do what you want.  Now I could get all philosophical about the use of the word freedom and how it relates to this day but I won't. Not today anyways. Post university I have had to work on this day even in Canada.  It may have been a holiday but I had work to do.  For some reason the weather on this day was always grey and gloomy.  Some years when I could, I would golf.  The weather wasn't great for golf but it was nice to be alone with your thoughts on this day.  I think the grayness and the wetness that would be part of it made it more enjoyable. It's Been a Long Time Since I Left You

I bet a lot of people live their entire life's without having as many stories to tell as it would appear that I'm going to have. I've taken a long break from writing.  I took a break for numerous reasons. Let's start with a list. This blog became too public and I have private thoughts that I didn't need shared. I don't like to air my grievances in public.  If I'm having issues with somebody I tell it to them.  If I'm having a problem in a relationship, I don't feel the need to share it with everybody. Life was going through changes and it wasn't required to be shared all around. I think there are a lot of the same themes in there, but hey it's my list I can do what I want.
